‘Be The Light’ is about connection. It’s about offering compassion, hope and encouragement in times when others are struggling. When they are in darkness…and we have all been in it to some varying degree at some point in our lives, it is a way to illuminate them, to hold them up. It is our hope that this initiative might inspire others to spread kindness and not hold back on the gifts we can give – no matter how small or insignificant they might seem. Often, the greatest gift we can give is to simply hold space for someone, to be the presence they need at that moment.
Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it’s self-preservation.
